Surowiec named PBC Male Scholar-Athlete of the Year

By: Michael MacEachern Assistant Director of Athletics for Sports Communications HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C. | Young Harris College men’s cross country runner Luke Surowiec was named the 2022-23 Peach Belt Conference Male Scholar-Athlete of the Year Tuesday (May 30) night at the league’s annual awards dinner. The award is the highest individual honor given to student-athletes by the conference and are selected by the league’s Faculty Athletics Representatives. Surowiec graduated from Young Harris this May with a major in Spanish and a minor in English.
