(BVM) – The new era surrounding much of college sports has begun to hit the high school landscape, as prep athletes are getting their opportunity to take advantage of a much different looking scene. With 19 states and counting in the United States now allowing high school student-athletes to profit from their name, image and likeness, plenty of prep stars have begun to add their name into the mix.
With some of the top high school athletic programs around the country calling Arizona home, the state is rich with some of the best athletes at the prep level. Cashing in on some of the success will have to wait, however, as Arizona currently slates in as one of the 15 states yet to change course when it comes to allowing NIL opportunities.
