10 most impactful college players to withdraw from NBA draft
9. Adem Bona, F, UCLA
Bona got his college career off to a hot start by averaging 7.7 points, 5.3 rebounds and 1.7 blocks in 33 games with 32 starts for the Bruins. His play earned the forward Pac-12 Freshman Player of the Year honors, which set him up well ahead of the draft.
Fortunately for UCLA, Bona made the decision to withdraw from the draft which will give the team one NBA-quality player this season while the team is set to lose numerous players to the pros. Given his star first year, expectations will be high for Bona to lead UCLA on another deep tournament run.
