Watch: Rangers First Pitch for ALS
ARLINGTON, Texas – Texas Rangers catcher Jonah Heim caught the first pitch of Friday’s game from his mother-in-law in commemoration of Lou Gehrig Day. Hillary Prince threw out the ceremonial first pitch. Prince was diagnosed with Bulbar Onset ALS three years ago and continues to fight for a cure. Heim was not in the starting lineup Friday, but came in late in the 2-0 win over the Seattle Mariners. He was back behind the plate for the second game of the series Saturday.
