No. 8 — C.J. Hicks 

Hicks’ 247 Sports profile shows that he had a player rating of 0.9948. The 6-foot-3, 215-pound linebacker graduated from Archbishop Alter High School (Dayton) in the Class of 2022. Hicks recorded 84 tackles, 18 tackles for loss and two interceptions as a high school senior.

While Hicks hasn’t played a massive role at Ohio State just yet (6 tackles) — he is projected to have a breakout season for the Buckeyes in 2023. OSU defensive coordinator Jim Knowles said that Hicks will “be unleashed” during his upcoming sophomore season.
