Dick being selected by the Pistons would probably mean he’s goes No. 5 overall which seems unlikely, but perhaps not out of the question for general manager Troy Weaver. It’s also possible Detroit moves down a spot or two while acquiring additional draft capital if the Pistons feel Dick is a true fit in new head coach Monty Williams’ system. Like several teams on this list, Detroit currently has a very young roster led by its past two lottery picks in guards Jaden Ivey and Cade Cunningham. The team also has some talented big men in James Wiseman, Jalen Duren, Isaiah Stewart and Marvin Bagley III. However, the Pistons could use some additional help on the wing, as well as some knock-down shooting, something Dick could certainly provide. Playing alongside Ivey and Cunningham would be a very intriguing fit for the Kansas product.
