The Citadel Athletics Post Strong Spring Academic Semester

CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Citadel cadet-athletes recorded a combined department-wide grade-point average of 3.390 for the Spring 2023 semester. The women’s golf program tallied the department’s highest GPA overall for an individual team at 3.672. Overall, 105 cadet-athletes earned Gold Stars (3.7 GPA or higher) from the spring semester. The Citadel had 98 cadet-athletes earn Dean’s List recognition, and 57 completed the Spring 2023 semester with a perfect 4.0. Department-wide, 252 cadet-athletes finished the semester with at least a 3.0 GPA. At The Citadel’s graduation ceremonies in May, 68 cadet-athletes received their diplomas.
