Women’s tennis 2023 season recap

ATLANTA – The Oglethorpe women’s tennis team faced a challenging season, but the Stormy Petrels walked away with several victories on and off the court. Oglethorpe opened the season with three clean sweeps, taking down LaGrange, Agnes Scott and Huntingdon 9-0. The Petrels took a hard blow from NCAA Division II Young Harris College, but returned to victory in their match against Belhaven. Southern Athletic Association play proved difficult for the Petrels, but the team managed a 5-4 victory over Birmingham Southern. The regular season ended with a loss to Rhodes, then Oglethorpe fell to Centre in the SAA quarterfinals.…
