Illinois’ Wang Helps Team USA to Arnold Palmer Cup Victory

LIGONEIR, Pa. – University of Illinois alum, and 2023 Big Ten Medalist, Crystal Wang competed for, and helped, Team USA to a 32-28 over Team International at the 27th Arnold Palmer Cup held this weekend at Laurel Valley Golf Club. Wang, a native of Diamond Bar, Calif., helped Team USA to a pair of victories and finished 2-1-1 in her matches overall. Wang is the first women’s golfer in program history to represent the Orange and Blue at this prestigious Ryder Cup style event.
