MINNEAPOLIS (BVM) — While hockey may be the most popular sport in Minnesota, athletes like Jaxon Howard and Kaden Johnson have made names for themselves on the gridiron and become some of the best football players from the Gopher State in the last two decades.
These are Minnesota’s highest-rated high school football players of all time.
The order of this list is based on 247Sports’ Composite Rating – “a proprietary algorithm that compiles prospect ‘rankings’ and ‘ratings’ listed in the public domain by the major media recruiting services. It converts average industry ranks and ratings into a linear composite index capping at 1.0000.”
A player rating of 1.0000 indicates that the high school athlete was ranked as a No. 1 prospect across all services.
