Top 10 all-time leading passers in Virginia HS football

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (BVM) – The state of Virginia has seen its fair share of athletes star at the quarterback position during their high school careers. Players such as Allen Iverson, Michael Vick, Mike Glennon and Tyrod Taylor each spent their high school days under center in the Commonwealth. While each of those athletes became standout professionals, none of them came close to breaking the Virginia High School League’s state record for passing yards in a career.

Given the quality of signal-callers to come through Virginia, it is no surprise that the career passing yards record book is equally filled with memorable names, standout college players and even NFL athletes. Here are the top 10 all-time career passing leaders in Virginia high school football history.
