Top 10 all-time leading passers in Louisiana HS football
Honorable mention
John David Booty
One of four Evangel Christian Academy stars from the 1990s and early 2000s, Booty once watched his brother shine on the high school gridiron before getting his own shot at the prep level. From 2000-02, Booty would go on to pass for 8,474 yards in his career, helping jumpstart a collegiate move that would come with an early exit from the high school level following his junior campaign. After reclassifying in 2003, Booty would go on to play at USC where he eventually took over for former Heisman–winning quarterback Matt Leinart.
