Mata Named to SLC All-Academic Team

SAN ANTONIO- The University of the Incarnate Word softball team had one student- athlete named to the 2023 Southland All-Academic teams. Sophomore, Ryleigh Mata, was named to the second team announced the conference on Wednesday. In her two years as a Cardinal, Mata has collected All-Academic and All-Conference Awards. In addition to being a consistent leader on the field, she was able to hold a perfect 4.0 GPA in the classroom this season.
