Top 10 all-time leading passers in Indiana HS football
10. James Arnold, South Adams (2017-2020)
Arnold is one of the most recent on this list to take the gridiron in the Hoosier State, and his tremendous career just barely edges out former Linton-Stockton standout Austin Karazsia. A four-year starter at South Adams, Arnold amassed 9,329 passing yards during his high school career, highlighted by a senior season in which he threw for a state-best 3,968 yards – the seventh most in a single season in state history – and 47 touchdowns while leading the Starfires to the state finals.
Also a standout basketball player during his time at South Adams, Arnold has gone on to play college football at Marian University, an NAIA school in Indianapolis. In 2022, he saw the field in six games following a redshirt season in 2021.
