NHL free agency 2023: Best fits for the top 10 free agents
Honorable mention
Jonathan Toews, C
Toews helped the Chicago Blackhawks win three Stanley Cups, but his time in Chicago ended this past season. He may join the Edmonton Oilers and provide veteran leadership or head home and suit up for the Winnipeg Jets.

Oliver Ekman-Larsson, D
After recording 51 points in Vancouver, the Canucks announced they were buying out Larsson’s contract and giving him $19.5 million to become a free agent. He would fit nicely with the Calgary Flames, who could use some depth on defense.
