With buyout penalties from Zach Parise and Ryan Suter set to hit, Dumba could be playing elsewhere, and he would be able to bring his defensive skills to a new team. That team could be the Ottawa Senators, who added Jakob Chychrun at the trade deadline, but Dumba’s potential addition would reinforce Ottawa’s defense and help it compete for a playoff spot.
