Strand Qualifies for U.S. Women’s Amateur

Nebraska’s Kelli Ann Strand fired a three-under-par 69 on Monday to win the USGA Qualifier in Sundre, Alberta, Canada, capturing a spot in the U.S. Women’s Amateur Championship later this summer. Strand, an All-Big Ten freshman for the Huskers in 2023, recorded birdies on No. 1, No. 4, No. 9, No. 11 and No. 15 to go with 11 pars and a pair of bogeys on her way to her 69 (-3) at Sundre Golf Club.
