With an abundance of athletes from the two major metropolitans in Kansas City and St. Louis as well as the more rural communities, the Show-Me State has shown many across the country just how skilled its football players can be.
From NFL Pro Bowlers to college stars and high school legends, here are the top 10 highest-rated Missouri high school football of all time — which 247Sports determined as athletes from the Class of 2000 through the Class of 2022.
The order of this list is determined by 247Sports’ Composite Rating – “a proprietary algorithm that compiles prospect ‘rankings’ and ‘ratings’ listed in the public domain by the major media recruiting services. It converts average industry ranks and ratings into a linear composite index capping at 1.0000.”
A player rating of 1.0000 indicates that the high school athlete was ranked as a No. 1 prospect across all services.
