Perhaps the most recognized name on this list, Gabbert was a star before he ever made it to Missouri and later the NFL. Gabbert played for Parkway West where he threw for 3,246 yards and 36 touchdowns as a three-year starter.

Gabbert committed to the in-state Tigers where he quickly became a star. Across two seasons as a starter, Gabbert threw for 6,822 yards and 40 touchdowns to just 18 interceptions as well as 458 yards and eight yards on the ground. The quarterback impressed enough to be selected with the No. 10 overall pick by the Jacksonville Jaguars in the first round of the 2011 draft. However, Gabbert has never truly lived up to the hype as he has gone 13-35 as a starter across 11 seasons. He will serve as a backup quarterback for the Kansas City Chiefs this season.
