Alana Vawter enters transfer portal; 5 spots for star pitcher
STANFORD, Calif. (BVM) – Another huge name in the college softball world entered the transfer portal on Monday. Stanford pitcher Alana Vawter joined the portal following an All-American campaign that saw her finish with a 21-8 record and a 1.81 ERA. The pitcher is considered a grad transfer and will have one more season of eligibility thanks to the extra COVID-19 year.

During her four seasons with the Cardinal, Vawter compiled a 77-34 record, a 1.75 ERA, 527 strikeouts, a .220 batting average against, 72 complete games and 26 shutouts. Given her All-American status this spring, Vawter should have her share of high-quality suitors as a transfer. Here are the top five landing spots for the star pitcher.
