CUI Earns Record-Setting 231 Academic All-PacWest Selections

IRVINE, Calif. – Concordia University Irvine raised the bar this past school year with an impressive 231 student-athletes making the grade as Academic All-PacWest Conference honorees. That number is the most that CUI Athletics has ever seen earn this distinction. The 231 honorees were second-most in the league this year and broke the previous record of 218 set by Azusa Pacific last spring. Biola narrowly set the new mark with 235. To qualify, student-athletes had to: Achieve a minimum 3.0 cumulative grade-point-average (GPA) Complete at least two semesters at their institution Compete at least once in a PacWest Conference-sponsored sport.…
