Humphries was the top recruit in North Carolina for the Class of 2012 and was top five in the nation that year. He was an All-American in high school and helped the Mavericks to a state semifinal appearance. From Mallard High School, the offensive tackle went on to play for Florida and was drafted 24th in the 2015 NFL Draft by the Arizona Cardinals. Humphries has played seven seasons for the Cardinals and made a Pro Bowl in 2021.
