Atwood earns 2022-23 C-USA Scholar Athlete of the Year award

DALLAS — UTSA senior Hailey Atwood has been named the 2022-23 Conference USA Women’s Basketball Scholar Athlete of the Year, the league office announced Thursday. Atwood joins fellow Roadrunners Oreoluwa Adamson (women’s track & field) and Abby Balli (women’s cross country) as well as 13 other student-athletes from across the league who were selected by C-USA faculty athletics representatives as the top scholar athlete in each conference-sponsored sport based on academic achievement (GPA), athletic achievement and service.
