Field hockey reveals 2023 schedule

Lynchburg, Va. — The University of Lynchburg field hockey team and head coach Enza Steele are excited to reveal the 2023 schedule beginning Saturday, Sept. 2 against Lebanon Valley. Steele enters her 45th and final season as head coach of the Hornets. The legendary coach is set to retire after the 2023 season hopefully culminating in Newport News, Va. at the national championship on Sunday, Nov. 19. During her 44th season in 2022, the Hornets played for an ODAC championship against Washington and Lee and boasted a record nine players on all-conference teams.
