1. Ronnie Lott, DB (1981-94)

The gold standard at safety, Lott was born in Albuquerque. He was tabbed as a consensus All-America at USC in 1980. The San Francisco 49ers drafted him eighth overall in the 1981 NFL Draft. Lott tallied six first-team All-Pro awards and four Super Bowl wins during his pro career. He was enshrined into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2000.
