Q&A with Weston lacrosse player, Trinity College commit Haven Trodden
WESTON, Mass. — Haven Trodden has played lacrosse for 12 years, starting in first grade, and field hockey for five years, starting in seventh grade. Between these two sports, she gets to play both offense (forward in field hockey) and defense (in lacrosse). As captain of both Weston Varsity Girls Lacrosse and Field Hockey teams in her senior year, Haven brings her leadership skills to the field to help the younger athletes. In addition, Haven’s coaches and teammates would describe her as someone who keeps practice fun, but then brings the intensity during the game.
Haven’s dedication to constantly improving her skills and her team-first mentality helped the team reach the D3 Final Four in the 2022 lacrosse season.
In Fall 2023, she will attend Trinity College, and she will definitely bring the same blend of fun and intensity to her studies and life there.
Congrats, Haven!
