Davidov Defeats Mason Teammate, Advances to the Quarterfinals at VSGA Amateur Championship

FAIRFAX, Va. — George Mason golf is well represented at the 110th Virginia State Golf Amateur Championship, being played this week at Boonsboro Golf Club in Lynchburg. Two current team members and two alumni of the George Mason golf team advanced to match play, which consisted of 32 individuals. After two rounds of stroke play and two rounds of match play, rising sophomore Samir Davidov has advanced to the quarterfinals. The Roanoke native will play Bobb Dudek II on Thursday, June 29.
