Top 10 highest-rated Colorado HS football players since 2000
9. Andrew Gentry, OL, Columbine – 0.9628
A four-star recruit and top-100 player in the Class of 2020, Gentry is one of the more recent players on this list, and one of the best offensive linemen to ever suit up at the high school level in Colorado. He did so at Columbine, where Gentry helped fuel a prolific offensive attack that helped the Rebels advance to the state quarterfinals or further in each year he took the field. As a senior, Gentry had over 100 pancake blocks, becoming a MaxPreps first-team All-American and Colorado’s Golden Helmet award winner.
Despite a family history at BYU, where his brother, JT Gentry, was an offensive lineman, and his father, Todd Gentry, was a basketball player, Andrew forged his own path to the Big Ten to play for the Michigan Wolverines. The 6-foot-7, 310-pound tackle made his debut at the college level last season, seeing action on special teams and the offensive line for a Wolverines squad that made the College Football Playoff.
