Top 10 highest-rated Indiana HS football players of all time
T-No. 2 – James Banks
Banks’ 247 Sports profile shows that he had a player rating of 0.9878. Banks, a 6-foot-3,195-pound quarterback, graduated from Ben Davis High School more than two decades ago in the Class of 2002.
As a high school senior, Banks passed for 1,474 yards and 20 touchdowns and rushed for 900 yards and 14 touchdowns.
But Banks went on to play just two seasons at Tennessee because he was dismissed for alcohol-related incidents. He went on to play Divison II football but never found a solid footing in the pros.
It’s unclear what Banks is up to today. Back in 2016, Banks told Rivals that he doesn’t watch too much football because it’s a sad reminder of what might have been.
