UMSL’s Brunell Named GLVC Scholar-Athlete for Women’s Golf

ST. LOUIS – University of Missouri-St. Louis women’s golf standout Tove Brunell was named the Great Lakes Valley Conference’s Scholar-Athlete for women’s golf by the conference office on Friday afternoon. She is the second women’s golfer in program history to be bestowed the honor joining Erin Konkol who won the award in 2006-07 and the ninth overall in school history. Brunell, an engineering major, holds a perfect 4.0 cumulative grade average and has been named to UMSL’s Dean’s List in each of her four semesters.
