Top 10 highest-rated high school running backs of all time

T-No. 9 – Marcus Houston

Houston’s 247 Sports profile shows that he had a player rating of 0.9980. The 6-foot, 208-pound RB graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School (Colorado) in the Class of 2000. He’s also tied at No. 71 on the all-time list of overall players.

As a high school senior, Houston rushed for 1,723 yards and 28 touchdowns.

But ultimately, Houston went undrafted in 2005 after careers at Colorado (2000-02) and Colorado State (2003-04). He quickly decided to move on from football and enroll in law school instead.

Today, the 42-year-old is a practicing attorney, according to his LinkedIn.
