Five Illini Tabbed WGCA All-American Scholars

CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – Five Illinois women’s golfers have been named Women’s Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) All-American Scholars, as announced by the organization today. Illini alums Crystal Wang (grad. student) and Siyan Chen (senior) along with sophomores Lexanne Halama and Alise Knudson and freshman Mattie Frick all earned All-American Scholar accolades for the 2022-23 season. Wang collects her fifth-career All-American Scholar honor, Chen earns her third and Halama and Knudson collect their second such honor. Frick also earns the honor for the first time in her career.
