Ashland University Hires Eric Gibson as Director of Tennis Operations

Ashland University has hired Eric Gibson as the Eagles’ Director of Tennis Operations. Gibson brings a wealth of coaching experience, having achieved success at Chestnut Hill and Penn State Abington in recent years. He is known for his enthusiasm and strong work ethic. Gibson is eager to join the Ashland staff and is impressed by their kindness and collaboration. He plans to grow and develop the tennis program at the university. Gibson replaces Tim Dunford, who recently accepted a coaching position at Tusculum. Under Dunford’s leadership, both the men’s and women’s teams at Ashland made it to their respective conference tournaments. Now, it’s Gibson’s turn to make his mark on the program and take the student-athletes to new heights.
