Illini Singles, Doubles Representatives Fall Short on Day 5 of Fighting Illini Open
CHAMPAIGN, Ill. — Illinois’ singles and doubles runs at the Fighting Illini Open came to an end on Friday, with Kenta Miyoshi falling in the singles quarterfinals and Hunter Heck and Karlis Ozolins suffering defeat in the doubles semifinals. The tournament, which is a men’s tennis 25K Tournament on the International Tennis Federation World Tour, will continue at Atkins Tennis Center through the weekend.
