The Virginia Tech commit serves as a lockdown corner for the Blue Tornado. Barnes had just one interception last season, but like most good cornerbacks, that does not do justice to his ability to neutralize a team’s top weapon. With Barnes and Gentle as anchors, McCallie has one of the state’s best defenses.
