Seven Rams Named CRCA Scholar-Athletes
PHILADELPHIA – Seven Thomas Jefferson University rowing student-athletes were recognized as CRCA Scholar-Athletes for the 2022-23 season by the Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association. Maeve Bieter, Shannon Cavanagh, Caitlin Lawson, Olivia Liebsch, Nomeda Nazarenkaite, Lily Rodgers, and Maggie Sher received the honor. It is the second career accolade for Lawson, Liebsch, Rodgers, and Sher. To qualify, an athlete must be in at least their second year of eligibility and maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher. Additionally, student-athletes must have rowed in their institution’s NCAA or IRA (lightweight) eligible boats for a minimum of 75% of the current spring races…
