7. Jake Merklinger, Senior, Calvary Day School

Merklinger has been a three-year starter for Calvary Day and has helped the Cavaliers have three straight winning seasons. He has thrown for 6,607 yards and 75 touchdowns during his time at Calvary Day. The four-star QB led the Cavaliers to the state quarterfinals last year while throwing for 1,987 yards, 32 touchdowns and two interceptions. Merklinger then committed to Tennessee in March.
