MaxPreps Cup: Wayzata of Minnesota wins 2022-23 title for best all-around high school sports program

In 12 years of MaxPreps Cup competition crowning the best overall high school sports program in the country, Bentonville (Ark.) and Carmel (Ind.) are the only public schools to finish on top. Until now. Wayzata (Plymouth, Minn.) is the 2022-23 MaxPreps Cup winner on the strength of seven state titles and nationally-ranked teams in four sports — boys cross country, girls volleyball, girls cross country and boys ice hockey.
