8. Hudson Card, Purdue

Purdue will begin a new era under head coach Ryan Walters this season, and Boilermaker fans should be excited with Card now in the fold in West Lafayette. A former four-star and top-100 recruit in the Class of 2020, Card saw action in each of his three seasons at Texas, throwing for 1,523 yards and 11 touchdowns during his time in Austin. Last year, in relief for an injured Quinn Ewers, Card almost led the Longhorns to an upset of Alabama, and was productive in multiple starts that followed, throwing for a total of 928 yards and six touchdowns while completing over 69% of his passes. In what should be a pass-heavy offense under offensive coordinator Graham Harrell, Card has the potential to become one of the Big Ten’s top signal callers by season’s end.
