These Texas HS football records might never be broken

Highest-scoring season 

Aledo High School is the Texas high school record holder for the most points scored in a single season – thanks to 1,023 points recorded in 16 games back in 2013, according to recent data collected by MaxPreps through record books.   

Aledo’s Texas high school football scoring record is so untouchable, in fact, it’s the all-time national record. No other high school in the nation’s history has ever scored more than 1,000 points in a season. Gilmer High School holds the nation’s No. 2 all-time spot with 950 points scored in 2014.
