Top 10 Indiana HS football players in Class of 2024

10. Christian Peterson, CB, Carmel

While many of the top 10 players in Indiana’s Class of 2024 are offensive playmakers, there are a few defensive standouts on this list as well, and Peterson is certainly one of them. Peterson began his high school football career at Pike, and caught 25 passes for 226 yards and three touchdowns for the Red Devils as a sophomore. As he transferred to Carmel for his junior season, Peterson found his home on defense, making 35 tackles while intercepting three passes for the Greyhounds. The 6-foot, 180-pound cornerback will look to replicate those numbers in his final season playing with one of the state’s perennial title contenders before making the trip south to Bloomington to play for the Indiana Hoosiers.
