10. Fred Johnson, LB, Maury

Starting off this list is Johnson who made an impact all over the field for the Commodores as he helped lead the team to a 10-2 record and an appearance in the Virginia High School League Class 5A state championship. Johnson lined up at linebacker on defense and wide receiver on offense and played both incredibly well, though he is expected to play linebacker at the college level.

As a recruit, the 6-foot-3, 225-pound linebacker is rated as high as four stars, being ranked as the No. 3 player in the state by 247Sports. Given his status as a top-end recruit, Johnson held 16 offers from Old Dominion, Rutgers, Virginia Tech and more. Johnson ultimately committed to South Carolina on June 17.
