Women’s Tennis Earns ITA All-Academic Team Honors; Two Named Scholar Athletes

By: Stephen Featherston, Assistant Director of Communications NASHVILLE – The Tennessee State women’s tennis program earned Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) All-Academic Team honors for their work in the classroom during the 2022-23 season, while two more Tigers were named Scholar Athletes. Aroa Arrieta Castillo and Naomi Von Bose were named Scholar Athletes in addition to the team award. To be named an ITA Scholar-Athlete, student-athletes must have a grade point average of at least 3.5 for the current academic year.
