SBT GRVL hits the back roads of the Yampa Valley in August

STEAMBOAT SPRINGS, Colo. — SBT GRVL is a world-class gravel race experience held on the greatest gravel roads on Earth in and around our magnificent town of Steamboat Springs, CO. The unique combination of the quiet roads surrounding a thriving resort town create a setting for an incredible gravel bike race that attracts 3,000 riders from around the world to this annual sold-out event on August 20th.

With the fundamental goal of inclusiveness, our event focuses not only on the race, but a fantastic weekend away with family and friends. The beauty of the mountains, thriving downtown, and bustling two day expo along Yampa street, create an unforgettable experience for participants traveling from near and far.

All riders are fully supported with aid stations and water on one of four colored routes (Green, Red, Blue, and Black) that correlate with the difficulty level of our ski slopes and range in distance from 37 miles to 142 miles. SBT GRVL attracts a wide range of skill levels from first time bike racers, to cycling’s top professionals, and we’re excited to welcome the participants, their families, and friends to town from August 18th to 20th.
