Torres to represent Portugal in China at World University Games

CHENGDU, China – UTSA men’s tennis junior-to-be Tiago Torres is wrapping up his summer on the international stage, having been selected to represent his home country of Portugal at the 2023 Summer World University Games, presented by International University Sports Federation (FISU). Men’s tennis play begins on Saturday, July 29. At just 20 years old and coming out of Lisbon, Torres will be one of two representatives of Portugal at the games, coming off a first-team All-Conference USA performance in 2023 – putting together an 8-11 singles/11-9 doubles season for the 41st-ranked Roadrunners.
