Top 10 Indiana QBs for 2023 high school football season
10. Braxton Birner, Sr., Maconaquah
Birner might not be as highly rated when it comes to recruiting as some towards the top of this list, but he did throw for more yards last season than some of the best quarterbacks in his class such as Tyler Cherry, Danny O’Neil and Jace Stuckey. Already Maconaquah’s all-time passing touchdowns leader, Birner threw for 31 scores in 2022 as well as 2,779 yards as he completed 65% of his passes. The 5-foot-10 quarterback who also plays baseball and basketball at Maconaquah will look to replicate his success in 2023 for a Braves team that went a respectable 6-4 last season.
