8. DJ Lagway, QB, Willis

Following in the steps of Jackson Arnold in the rankings last year, Lagway enters his senior season as the state’s top–ranked passer. With back-to-back years as the starting quarterback, Lagway saw improvement in his eight game effort during the 2022 campaign, where he passed for 2,081 yards, 24 touchdowns and just five interceptions. With another 517 yards and seven touchdowns on the ground, the Florida commit proved to be one of the country’s top dual-threat quarterbacks during the Wildkats’ 5-5 campaign. After missing out on the playoffs as a junior, the Willis quarterback will have one more chance at a deep postseason run before he heads off to Gainesville.
