One of two quarterbacks the Crimson Tide brought in from the Class of 2023, Holstein shined during his prep career, helping lead Zachary to a 15-0 record and a Class 5A state championship as a junior. In a senior year that saw him complete 65.2 percent of his passes for 2,153 yards and 22 touchdowns, Holstein showcased an ability to work within the short-to-intermediate passing game. An improved skill set as a scrambler has set up the 6-foot-4 quarterback as a solid option for the Crimson Tide, likely in the future.
