Notre Dame football: Where top 10 recruits of the 2000s are now
No. 1 – Jimmy Clausen
Clausen’s 247Sports Composite rating of 0.9988 means that he’s the No. 1 highest-rated Notre Dame recruit of the 2000s. As a member of the Class of 2007, the 6-foot-3, 215-pound QB graduated from Oaks Christian School in California.
At Notre Dame, he finished his final season as a junior with 3,722 yards passing yards, 28 touchdowns and four interceptions. He was then drafted by the Carolina Panthers in the second round of the 2010 NFL Draft, but his career was over just five underwhelming years later.
Today, the 35-year-old works as a real estate developer. He shares a lot of his work on his Instagram.
