Top 10 Missouri QBs for 2023 high school football season
5. Grant Gibson, Sr., Rockwood Summit
Gibson showed a lot of poise as the Falcons starting quarterback last season. During the year, the 6-foot-3, 210-pound signal caller threw for 2,233 yards, 33 touchdowns and just five interceptions while leading Rockwood Summit to an 11-2 record and a spot in the Class 4A playoffs. For his efforts, Gibson earned third-team all-state honors from the MFCA.
While Gibson hasn’t received any D-I attention yet, the quarterback has built up some attention among D-II programs, visiting many schools and participating in numerous camps. On July 22, Gibson earned his first D-II offer from Southwest Baptist University and with another good season could see his stock rise among scouts.
